Introducing Amazon’s Alexa, the Personal Digital Assistant with Smonet Door Lock
In terms of voice assistants, Alexa is the most popular. It’s possible to lock, unlock, and check whether or not your door is locked using only your voice. You can also make sure that the lights go out when you lock your door and the alarm goes off when you unlock your door by integrating Alexa’s connected home automation system.
Using the TTLock app, we were able to easily pair the SMONET Smart Lock with Alexa in under 5 minutes. According to our tests, we found that this smart lock responds quickly to all of our voice commands. It’s safe to say that it’s a very capable machine.

Assistant by Google for Smonet Door Lock
You can use Google Assistant to control SMONET Smart Lock if you don’t want to use Alexa or have Google Home in your home.
These are the Google Assistant voice commands that you can use.
- Lock: “Google, My front door is unlocked, so please lock it.” (The name given to your door in the app is what you should use.)
- Check Status: “OK, Google, is my front door unlocked?”
- Open: “OK Google, open the door to my front door house.” Upon unlocking, you will be asked to enter your pin code.
At the very least, we’ve put these instructions to the test at least 50 times. We haven’t encountered any issues with SMONET Smart Lock and Google Assistant during our testing. Every time, it worked perfectly.
The SMONET Door Lock’s Fingerprint Reader
This lock has a fingerprint reader at the top, in the shape of a circle. A total of 250 fingerprints can be stored. This amount of storage is sufficient for both home and business use in most cases. It takes only a few seconds to register fingerprints using the TTLock app.
It takes about 0.5 seconds for the reader to read your finger and unlock the door. If your fingerprint is accepted, a beautiful green light encircles the reader. The same red light appears if your fingerprint is not accepted.
We ran a number of tests, registering the fingers of various members of our team, and found that 90% of the time it worked. To be honest, we can say that SMONET Smart Lock’s fingerprint reader is in the top three of the many fingerprint readers we have tested.
To prevent fingerprint readers from malfunctioning, never use one with a finger that has been exposed to water or other liquid. If your finger is extremely wet, you can either use the keypad or dry it out.
Smonet smart lock’s touch screen
The OLED touchscreen keypad is the first thing that grabs your attention when you see this lock. Located just below the fingerprint reader, the keypad has a keyhole so that you can unlock your door with a key if you need it.
The keypad’s illumination is adequate for both day and night use. When you press a key on the keyboard, the lights on the keypad come on. Our tests with the SMONET Smart Lock showed no issues with the touchscreen keypad, and the keys were pressed correctly every time we tried. Press and hold the # button on the bottom right for two seconds if you want to automatically lock your door when you get home.
There is a good level of security in place to prevent someone else from seeing your code as you type it in. You can enter your code with random digits before or after it if you’re suspicious that someone is watching you. So, let’s assume that our code is 45789 and that we can use the following examples to demonstrate: 36345, 943784570884, 45789366, and 457894366.
As a whole, we can say that the keypad performs excellently Exposure to direct sunlight can damage touchscreen keypads. As a result, we urge you to limit your time spent in direct sunlight. Because of prolonged exposure to the sun, your screen may become more sensitive and even crack. All smart locks with touch keypads, not just the SMONET Smart Lock, are covered by this notice.
The operating temperature ranges from 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. For the most part, this is an acceptable temperature range. This smart lock is also IP5X-rated, which means it can withstand light rain and snow, but it isn’t completely impervious to water. Types of SMONET Smart Lock User Codes

Using the app, you can easily create custom user codes. You’re a natural when it comes to computer programming. Programming different types of user codes for us took less than two minutes. SMONET Smart Lock allows you to create an unlimited number of user codes. Codes of between 4 and 9 digits are required for user accounts.
There are several different kinds of user codes, each serving a different purpose. SMONET gives us a wide range of options when it comes to user code. Following that, we’ll go into great detail about what kinds of codes you can program and how you might use them.
Permanent: This code, as its name implies, is a permanent one that will remain in effect until you remove it from your computer. People who live at home should use this type of code. Without a date or time limit, anyone with this code can unlock the door.
Timed: A short-term rental such as Airbnb necessitates you to use this code type. To activate the code, simply choose the date range and time period from the drop-down menu. As soon as the timer expires, the program will be automatically deleted from your system.
Just Once: A code that can only be used once is extremely useful and can even save a person’s life. One-time codes are useful when you don’t want to provide a permanent or time-limited code to someone who needs to enter your home. Erase: All of your saved codes in the SMONET Smart Lock can be erased by entering a single code thanks to the erase code feature. It is imperative that you exercise caution when using this code, as if you accidentally program erase code while trying to program another type of code and use it, you will delete all the codes you have programmed.
Cyclic: Do you have a regular guest who comes to your house on a specific day and time each week? If that’s the case, then this code will come in handy. Using this code as an example, if you have someone who visits your home every Monday, Thursday, and Friday between the hours of 10 am and 11 am, you can create a code that is only activated on these days and at these times. As long as you don’t remove it from the system, this code will run on the specified days and times each week.
Custom: This code allows you to write both long-term and short-term code. It’s essentially combining these two code types into one. You can only program 8 digits in length with this code.
There’s something to keep in mind when it comes to these codes. If you don’t use any code you’ve programmed within 24 hours, it will be deleted from the system. The purpose of this feature is to provide some kind of security.
In the event that any user code is used, you will be notified. Logs sections in the app allow you to see specifics about how code is being used. We ran each of these code types through its paces and found no issues. Each piece of code that we examined performed exactly as expected. We can say that the performance of user-created code is remarkable.

Interchangeable Circuit Cards Smonet Door Lock
Because of their simple and user-friendly design, IC Cards are extremely beneficial to the elderly and children. To unlock your door, all you have to do is touch the IC Card to the keypad screen. 2 IC Cards are included in the box, but you can purchase more if necessary.

E-Keys Smonet Door Lock
It is possible to use E-Keys as an alternative method of unlocking the door. It is possible to use E-Keys to generate any type of user code (except erase). In comparison to a user code, the E-Keys are restricted to use within the TTLock app. In order to send an E-Key, the recipient will need to download and install the TTLock app. If you’ve understood that correctly, then the E-Key you generate is only used in the TTLock app.

SMONET Smart Lock’s Auto-Lock Function
Smart locks come equipped with an excellent feature called “auto lock,” which makes our lives a whole lot simpler. If you have a large family and don’t want to deal with locking the door manually, this is a great option.
From 5 seconds to 200 seconds, SMONET Smart Lock has a wide range of timer options. The specified amount of time must have elapsed since the unlocking operation was completed before the auto-lock is activated. Your door will automatically lock once the time you specify has elapsed.
We ran the tests three times each with the timer set to 5, 27, 64, 135, and 190 seconds. The door automatically locked after all the times we had selected had passed. SMONET Smart Lock’s auto-lock feature works perfectly, so we recommend that you turn it on.

Nearly two weeks into our testing of the SMONET Smart lock, and the battery level is still at its highest point yet. Various tests were performed on various doors with various features enabled, and an average battery consumption was calculated. We can predict a battery life of 3-5 months, but some users may get as much as 7-8 months of use out of it. We checked with some SMONET Smart Lock users to see if their experiences matched our predictions, and they confirmed them.
